Web Development – Level 2 (After Completion of Level 1)

In this level of the Web Development program, students build on the foundations learned in Level 1 and dive into creating dynamic, interactive web pages.

What Students Will Learn

Students will be introduced to JavaScript, the programming language that brings webpages to life. They will learn how to:

• Change text and styles dynamically

• Create pop-up alerts and interactive messages

• Validate text fields to ensure required information is entered correctly

Beyond the Basics

As the semester progresses, students will also:

• Understand the basics of server-side programming

• Build simple real-time web applications

• Perform data validation for user inputs

By the end of Level 2, students will have the skills to create responsive, interactive websites that not only look good but also function intelligently.
